What are the Best Natural Cleaning Products for Home Use?

Last Updated: September 8, 2023 by Joan Clark

My husband has allergies to a lot of chemicals. What are the best natural cleaning products for home use? I need ideas as soon as possible.

Josephine Conyers, Fort Meyers, FL

Switching to natural cleaning products is great for your husband’s health and probably your budget, too. Natural cleaners are less likely to cause allergic reactions. They are usually biodegradable, making them kinder to the environment, too. See this article to get the full list of the best natural cleaning products: https://www.tipsbulletin.com/best-natural-cleaning-products/

Here are some examples of natural home cleaners you probably have at home right now. One is distilled white vinegar. You probably know that it dissolves hard water stains. It can also sanitize surfaces, clean windows streak-free, remove wax stains, deodorize carpets, clean laminate and kill mold.

A second natural cleaning product is hydrogen peroxide. Besides disinfecting wounds, peroxide whitens laundry, cleans tile, and removes mildew.

A third cleaner is rubbing alcohol. It can help you clean a microfiber couch, get rid of marker stains, and remove sticky residue. It safely cleans stainless steel surfaces as well as keyboards and phone screens.

Another great combo for natural cleaning is a mix of lemon juice and white vinegar. It removes rust stains and cleans concrete floors.

You may have olive oil on hand for cooking. But you can use this substance to remove makeup from brushes and clean leather shoes and purses. It also works well for a homemade dusting spray to polish furniture.

Club soda is good for removing spots from clothes, plus it can eliminate rust spots and get bird droppings off of cars.

Besides these common items lurking in your pantry and cupboards, you can invest in microfiber cloths. While microfiber isn’t necessarily a natural product, it’s easier on the environment than using paper towels. It doesn’t leave lint or streaks behind, so it’s nice for dusting.

I hope this little summary helps you find the best natural cleaning products for your home.
